ISSUE: Rear brake drum squeal may be caused by the brake friction material in the shoes.

ACTION: Confirm the rear brake squeal. If the squeal is evident, replace the rear brake shoes with a new level rear brake shoe set (F1CZ-2200-C). Refer to the 1991 Escort/Tracer Service Manual, Section 06-02, for service details.
