Liftgate Wiper

With the Ignition Switch in RUN, voltage is present at the Liftgate Washer Pump Motor and the Liftgate Wiper Motor through the REAR WIPER Fuse.

Wiper Operation

With the innermost ring on the wiper/washer control turned to ON, the Liftgate Wiper Switch contacts are closed, grounding the Liftgate Wiper Motor. Current flows through the REAR WIPER Fuse, the Liftgate Wiper Motor and the Liftgate Wiper Switch to ground. The Liftgate Wiper Motor runs to operate the rear wiper arm.

Washer Operation

With the innermost ring on the wiper/washer control held in the WASH position, the Liftgate Washer Switch contacts are closed, grounding the Liftgate Washer Pump Motor. Current flows through the REAR WIPER Fuse, the Liftgate Washer Switch to ground. The Washer Pump Motor runs to power the pump.
