Fuel Pump: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
Provides high pressure fuel in the correct volume to the electronic fuel injection system.

LOCATION
Inside fuel tank with fuel sender assembly.

OPERATION
Pump is electronically controlled by an internal motor and provides a steady supply of fuel. Pressure is controlled by a pressure regulator located at the fuel rail.
