SERVICE PARTS - RETURN OF BRAKE SHOE KITS

FORD:
1993-94 THUNDERBIRD

LINCOLN-MERCURY:
1993-94 COUGAR

ISSUE:
Certain shoe and lining kits (F3SZ-2001-B) do not meet Ford dimensional specifications and should be withdrawn from your inventory.

ACTION:
Remove and return the subject parts from your dealership's inventory. The subject parts should be withdrawn from your inventory and returned to your facing PDC within thirty (30) days of this TSB.

1. Perform 100% sort of all stock of brake shoe kits (F3SZ-2001-B) on hand.

2. Return all stock on hand with a packaging date of 9/14/94 or prior to your facing PDC using the least expensive transportation

3. Parts with a packaging date of 9/15/94 or later are okay and can be released for normal sales.

4. If claim is processed electronically via DOES II, use return code "GB"; otherwise, complete a separate paper claim form FPS-340 using return code "J".

5. In the Remarks Section write "Returned per TSB 95-6-9".

LIMITS

^ The returns must be received within 30 days from the date of this TSB.

^ Returns are restricted to the subject parts.

^ The parts returned must have been purchased from FCSD in accordance with Policy And Procedure Bulletin 4000.

CREDIT

Credit for parts and prepaid freight costs will be issued.
