Trunk / Liftgate: Description and Operation

OPERATION
With the Ignition Switch in "RUN", the Manual Lever Position Sensor (MLPS) in "NEUTRAL" or "PARK", and the Liftgate Release Switch operated, voltage is applied to the Liftgate Release Relay. The Relay is energized and applies voltage to the Liftgate Release Solenoid to unlatch the Liftgate.
