Solar Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable
2. Remove the RH upper, outer finish panel assembly and remove the sunload sensor assembly from the two mounting studs.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sunload sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. Connect the electrical connector to the sunload sensor.
2. Install the sunload sensor assembly to the LH speaker grille by pushing the sunload sensor firmly over the two mounting studs.
3. Install the LH radio speaker grille assembly.
4. Connect the battery ground cable.

NOTE: On vehicles equipped with Electronic Engine Control (EEC), when the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the EEC processor relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more to relearn the strategy.
