OASIS
You must use OASIS to determine if a vehicle is eligible for the 98M02 program. Vehicle VINS will be added to OASIS later this year for the 98S15 Safety Recall.

PROMPTLY CORRECT
All eligible vehicles which are brought to your dealership which exhibit spring fracture must be repaired.

OWNER REFUNDS
See ACESII Manual, Section 3-63 for submission procedures.

For owner-paid repairs made before date of the Owner Letter. Enter claims using DWE:

^ Program Code - 98M02

^ Misc. Expense - REFUND

^ Misc. Expense - ADMIN.

^ Misc. Expense - 0.2 Hr.

SERVICE TRACKING
To monitor the effectiveness of this Safety Recall and Owner Notification, it is important that:

^ any vehicle with the same concern as affected vehicles be identified and

^ any affected vehicle listed in OASIS, presented for service to a dealer outside the geographic area covered by the Safety Recall and Owner Notification, be serviced under the terms of the Safety Recall and Owner Notification.

If a vehicle, not listed in OASIS, with the same concern or operated in the same conditions as affected vehicles listed in OASIS is presented for service, it is important that dealers obtain as much information about the vehicle as possible. Dealers are to call 1-800-325-5621 and provide Ford Motor Company with a description of the concern, VIN, model year and mileage.

In appropriate situations, where the customer is willing to cooperate with the dealer in providing the required information and has agreed to provide the affected parts for possible inspection by the Company, the dealer will receive approval and will be reimbursed for performing the repair upon submission of the claim.
