Alignment: Service and Repair
FRONT CAMBER AND CASTERFront caster and camber angles are preset at the factory and cannot be adjusted.
FRONT TOE
Adjusting Front Toe:
Lock steering wheel in the straight ahead position using suitable steering wheel holder. Remove small outer clamp from steering boot to prevent boot from twisting during adjustment procedure. Loosen tie rod adjusting nuts, then adjust left and right tie rods until each wheel has 1/2 the desired total toe specification. Tighten tie rod adjusting nuts, replace steering gear rubber boots and tighten clamp. Remove steering wheel holding tool.
REAR CAMBER AND CASTER
No provision is made to adjust rear camber and caster angles.
REAR TOE
Rear Adjusting Cam:
To adjust toe of either wheel, loosen bolt attaching rear control arm to body, and rotate alignment cam until the required alignment setting is obtained. Torque control arm attaching bolt to 52-74 ft lb.
