Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

Radio:

REMOVAL
1. Insert Radio Removal Tool T87P-19601-A or equivalent into radio face plate. Press in 25.4mm (1 in) to release radio retaining clips. Pull radio from the instrument panel using the tool as handles.
2. Disconnect wiring connectors and the antenna cable.
3. Transfer the rear mounting bracket to the new radio, if necessary.

INSTALLATION
1. Connect wiring connectors and the antenna cable to the radio.
2. Slide radio into instrument panel. Engage rear mounting bracket to track in instrument panel.
3. Test the radio and/or tape player operation.
