Cooling System: Description and Operation

Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM) Schematic:

OPERATION
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) receives signals from the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, Vehicle Speed Sensor, and Clutch Cycling Pressure Switch to determine if the Electric Cooling Fan should be activated.

When conditions are met to activate the Electric Cooling Fan, the PCM will provide a signal to energize the Low Cooling Fan Relay or High Cooling Fan Relay (located within the Constant Control Relay Module) and operate the Cooling Fan.
