NOTE: Memory to radio, phone, and other programmable accessories may be erased when the battery is disconnected.

1. Verify code(s) were received in Key On Engine Off (KOEO) Self Test.

2. Disconnect negative battery cable and depress brake pedal for 10 seconds to erase codes in memory.

3. Rerun Key On Engine Off (KOEO) Self Test.

- If no service codes, see Key On Engine Running (KOER) Self Test, Key On Engine Running (KOER) Self-Test

- If one or more service codes, see Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Charts, Manufacturer Code Charts

- If no codes and no start, see No Start Symptom Test, No Start Symptom Test

NOTE: If codes received in Key On Engine Off (KOEO) Self Test from the first time cannot be duplicated it may be necessary to tap suspected sensors, shake and wiggle component harness, or drive the vehicle in order to induce a failure.
