KP9 - Remove Octane Adjust Shorting Bar

- Remove Octane Adjust (OCT ADJ) shorting bar only if there is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) authorization.

- Drive vehicle to verify spark knock.

- Is spark knock present?

Yes -- Go to KP10. KP10 - Check Octane Adjust Circuit For A Short to Ground

No -- Testing complete. Electronic Engine Controls (EEC) system OK.
