AXOD-E
Erratic/High Line Pressure
Erratic or high line pressure (usually at an idle) can be caused by a malfunction with the pressure fail-safe valve.
It is recommended that the pressure fail-safe valve be disabled during any valve body repair or service. Removing the spring will disable the valve.
Note
This condition can also be caused by a failure of the EPC solenoid. If this condition exists, replace the solenoid as well.
