1993-94 SABLE

ISSUE:
An exterior "squeak" from the rear of the vehicle may be caused by a rear window moulding lip that binds on the window glass.

ACTION:
Determine if the squeaks are from the rear window moulding area. Repair the squeaks. Refer to the following Service Procedure for details.

SERVICE PROCEDURE





1. "Rough-up" the underside of the rear window moulding along the entire length of the right and left sides of the rear window moulding lip with 120 grit sandpaper, see Figure 1.

2. Apply Krytox GPL205 grease to the underside of both lips using a plastic squeegee. See Figure 1.
