DE4 - Check For Short to Power In FF Sensor Signal Circuit

- Key "OFF".

- Flexible Fuel (FF) sensor disconnected.

- Breakout box installed PCM disconnected.

- Measure resistance between test pin 45 and test pins 26, 37 and 57 at the breakout box.

- Is each resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

Yes -- Go to DE5. DE5 - Check For Short to Ground In FF Sensor Signal Circuit

No -- Service short circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
