DB2 - Induce Opposite Code

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect EGR Temperature (EGRT) sensor.

- Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

- Start engine and run for at least two minutes.

- Turn engine "OFF" and rerun Key On Engine Off (KOEO) Self-Test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

- Is Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 337 present?

Yes -- Replace EGRT sensor. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Go to DB3. DB3 - Check EGRT Circuit For Shorts to Ground
