Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

1. On models equipped with airbag, disarm airbag system.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. On models less air conditioning, remove two lefthand air vent control retaining screws, then place control aside.
4. Remove fuse panel bracket retaining screws, then move fuse panel assembly aside to gain access to headlamp switch.
5. Pull headlamp knob out to ON position.
6. Depress headlamp knob and shaft retainer button on headlamp switch, then remove knob assembly.
7. Remove headlamp switch retaining bezel.
8. Disconnect multiple connector plug, then remove switch from instrument panel.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
10. On models equipped with airbag, rearm airbag system.
