Water Pump

Water Pump Belt:

Removal and installation
1. Remove the 6k accessory drive belt.
2. Raise the vehicle on hoist.

NOTE: Mark direction of rotation on belt with a crayon or marking pen to ensure correct installation. Failure to do so may result in belt noise, if belt is to be reused.

3. Place a wrench on water pump pulley tensioner.
4. Turn wrench CLOCKWISE to release tension on water pump belt. Remove belt.

NOTE: Inspect the belt for any cuts or wear. The belt may be reused if no damage or wear is apparent.

5. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
