HORN - INOPERATIVE - VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITHOUT SPEED CONTROL AND AIR BAGS

ISSUE:
The horn may become inoperative on some vehicles. This may be due to the current going to the horn being too high and damaging the horn switch contacts.

ACTION:
Install a Horn Relay Kit into the circuit. The relay kit will reduce current through the horn switch and reduce the possibility of damaging the contacts. Refer to Instruction Sheet 7194A, included in the kit, for installation procedure.

The Horn Relay Kit (-13A821-) includes the following:

^ One (1) Relay

^ One (1) Brush Assembly

^ One (1) Wire Assembly

^ One (1) Instruction Sheet (I.S. 7194A)
