Torque Converter End Play - With ATX (FLC)

INSPECTION
1. Position end play checking tool No. T81P-7902-D, or equivalent, in torque converter hub and tighten nut.

Checking Torque Converter Endplay:

2. Mount dial indicator on endplay checking tool. With stylus contacting converter shell and indicator zeroed, lift on checking tool handles.
3. If reading exceeds 0.010-0.040 inch, replace converter.
