KE17 - Check For Internal Short to IAC Solenoid Case

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect Idle Air Control (IAC) solenoid.

- Measure resistance from either IAC solenoid pin to IAC housing.

- Is resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

Yes -- Go to KE18. KE18 - Check IAC Circuit For Short to Ground

No -- Replace IAC solenoid. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
