KM19 - Check WAC Circuit For Short to Power

- Key "OFF".

- Install breakout box, leave Powertrain Control Module (PCM) disconnected.

- Wide Open Throttle A/C Cut-Off (WAC) relay disconnected.

- Measure voltage between test pin 54 and chassis ground.

- Is voltage less than 1.0 volt?

Yes -- Replace PCM. Reconnect WAC relay. Re-evaluate symptom.

No -- Service open circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Re-evaluate symptom. If symptom is still present, replace PCM.
