DN27 - Substitute EVP Sensor

- Key "OFF".

- Install a good EGR Valve Position (EVP) sensor on original EGR valve.

- Reconnect EGR vacuum hose and EVP sensor connector.

- Rerun Key On Engine Off (KOEO) and Key On Engine Running (KOER) Self-Test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

- Is Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 328 still present?

Yes -- Replace the EGR valve. Remove breakout box. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- The original DTC 328 was the result of the original EVP sensor. Testing complete.
