PLEASE DISTRIBUTE TO YOUR AFFECTED PERSONNEL IMMEDIATELY
ANNOUNCING OWNER NOTIFICATION PROGRAM 95B68 AND, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, A DELIVERY HOLD ON CERTAIN 1995 TAURUS/SABLE CARS BUILT ON MAY 16, 1995 AT THE ATLANTA ASSEMBLY PLANT. DO NOT DELIVERY ANY OF THESE CARS UNTIL THEY HAVE BEEN CORRECTED.
THE LEFT FRONT SUSPENSION KNUCKLE TO LOWER ARM ATTACHMENT NUT MAY NOT BE PROPERLY TORQUED. A LOOSE FASTENER AT THE FRONT SUSPENSION KNUCKLE TO LOWER ARM CAN CAUSE A CHUCKING NOISE, FAILURE TO TRACK STRAIGHT DOWN THE ROAD, TIRE WEAR AND OTHER ALIGNMENT CONCERNS.
DEALERS ARE TO HAND TORQUE THE LEFT FRONT SUSPENSION KNUCKLE TO LOWER ARM ATTACHMENT NUT TO 46.1 FT.LBS. (62.5 Nm).
DEALER SHOULD CONTACT ANY OWNERS WHO HAVE TAKEN DELIVERY OF ANY OF THE AFFECTED CARS AND ADVISE THEM TO HAVE THEIR CARS CORRECTED.
