Front

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel, caliper and rotor.

CAUTION: It is not necessary to disconnect brake hydraulic line to caliper, but it is necessary to prevent caliper from hanging on brake hose by supporting it from vehicle chassis.

2. Remove front brake anti-lock sensor and tie rod end cotter pin, then loosen tie rod end to knuckle nut.
3. Separate tie rod end from knuckle using rod end remover 3290-D, or equivalent, then insert steel rod into front disc brake rotor to prevent turning and remove front axle wheel hub retaining nut.

4. Separate the halfshaft from wheel hub using special tools as shown.

CAUTION: Support halfshaft during separation from wheel hub.

5. Reverse procedure to install.
