Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures

Evaporative Emissions Symptom Chart:

- Use Rotunda Digital Volt-Ohmmeter 014-00407 or equivalent to perform Tests.

- Using NGS

Diagnostics for this section require use of the Rotunda New Generation Star (NGS) Tester 007-00500 or equivalent. The module controlling the system being diagnosed communicates with the data link connector located beneath the instrument panel.

Connect the OBDII style communication cable to the NGS. Attach the NGS and communication cable to the DLC beneath the instrument cluster. Select the proper vehicle model and year from the NGS menu. You may then access the testing area of the NGS menu required to diagnose this vehicle system.
