Breakout Box:

The Breakout Box is used to take measurements of individual circuits, while the vehicle is being driven or stationary. The Breakout Box is connected in line with the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Test leads allow the technician to pinpoint a particular circuit that is being tested.
