The oil pressure indication system consists of:
^ oil pressure switch on the engine.
^ engine oil pressure warning indicator in the instrument cluster.

Low Oil Pressure Warning
If the oil pressure drops below the normal range, the oil can symbol will light and a tone will sound to alert driver.

Oil Pressure Switch
The oil pressure switch is threaded into the cylinder block. The oil pressure switch reacts to the pressure of the engine oil in the tube passage. It is closed with engine oil pressure and opens with low oil pressure.
