Flow of Diagnosis
1. Verify the customer's concern by performing the Initial Inspection to duplicate the condition. Inspection and Verification (Start Testing Here)2. Inspect to determine if one of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:
Mechanical
^ Damaged or misadjusted selector lever cable.
^ Damaged ignition key cylinder.
Electrical
^ Open (blown) fuses 1 (15A), 5 (15A), 7 (15A), 13 (15A).
^ Damaged brake shift interlock actuator.
^ Damaged wiring harness.
^ Loose or corroded connections.
3. If the inspection reveals obvious concern(s) that can readily be identified, service as required.
4. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the conditions and go to Diagnosis by Symptom. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
