Heated Glass Element: Description and Operation

NOTE: The radio antenna is integral to and is serviced with the back window glass as an assembly.

The heated back window consists of:
- Two layers of grid lines baked on the inside surface of the back window glass. The first is brown as viewed from the exterior, and the second is silver as viewed from the interior.
- System wiring which includes heated back window ground wire and heated back window feed wiring.

Power for the back window glass defroster grids, the heated outside rear view mirror and the heated back window switch indicator is supplied from the power distribution box through fuse HTD BLT (40 A) which protects the circuit.
