Headlamp: Adjustments
NOTE: Before adjusting headlamps, perform ride height adjustments.Perform headlamp aim adjustments with Rotunda Headlight Aimer 196-00050 or equivalent. To aim the aerodynamically styled headlamps, the adjustable aimer adapters provided in the kit must be used. Adjustment aimer adapter positions are moulded into the bottom edge of the headlamp lens. Headlamps can be adjusted from inside the engine compartment by rotating the adjusting screw by hand using a hex-head socket.
Set and lock the adjustable adapters, attach each adapter to its mechanical aimer, and aim headlamps per latest instructions in the kit. All headlamp adjustments should be made with a half-full fuel tank, plus or minus 3.785 liters (one gallon), the vehicle unloaded, the luggage compartment empty (except for the spare tire and jacking equipment) and recommended pressure in all the tires.
The equipment in Rotunda Headlamp Aimer 196-00050 or equivalent can be calibrated to accommodate a slight slope in the floor, making it usable almost any place in the garage. However, area must be reasonably flat.
