Rear Bench Seat

REMOVAL
1. Apply knee pressure to the lower front portion of rear seat cushion assembly. Push rearward to disengage rear seat cushion pad and frame from rear seat cushion front retainers.
2. Remove the rear safety belt retractor and tongue and rear seat back pad and frame lower retaining nuts.
3. Grasp rear seat back pad and frame assembly at the bottom and lift up to disengage the hanger wire from the retaining brackets.
4. Remove rear seat back pad and frame assembly from vehicle.






INSTALLATION
1. Position rear seat back pad and frame assembly into vehicle so the hanger wire is engaged with retaining brackets.
2. Install the rear safety belt retractor and tongue and rear seat back pad and frame retaining nuts. Tighten retaining nuts to 40-55 Nm (30-40 Lb-Ft).
3. Position rear seat cushion pad and frame assembly into vehicle.
4. Apply knee pressure to lower portion of rear seat cushion pad and frame assembly. Push rearward and down to lock rear seat cushion pad and frame into position.
5. Check rear seat cushion pad and frame to make sure it is secured into rear seat cushion front retainer.
