Pinpoint Test B:

B1 - Check power to ABS control module- Low Range
- Disconnect anti-lock brake control module connector C162.
- Connect Breakout Box and ABS adapter to harness connector C162.
- Set voltmeter to read volts dc.
- Turn ignition switch to "RUN".
- Measure voltage between Breakout Box Pins 15 and 13.
- Is voltage reading less than 10 volts ?
YES - Go to B3.
NO - Go to B2.

B2 - Check power to ABS control module- High Range
- "START" the engine.
- measure voltage between breakout box pins 15 and 13.
- Is voltage reading greater than 13.5 volts ?
YES - Check vehicle charging system. Refer ToStarting and Charging.
NO - Go to B3.

B3 - Check ABS Control module to ground wire
- Shut "OFF" engine.
- Check resistance between breakout box pin 13 and body ground.
- Is resistance 5 ohms or less ?
YES - Go to B4.
NO - Service Circuit 57 (BK). Restore vehicle. Retest System.

B4 - Check ignition to ABS control module circuit
- Measure resistance between breakout box pin 15 and EVAC and FILL connector C115-5, Circuit 88 (BK/W).
- Is resistance 5 ohms or less ?
YES - Go to B5.
NO - Service Circuit 88 (BK/W) or fuse 15 (10A). Check for shorting cap on 8-pin EVAC and Fill connector C115 on LH front fender apron (By power steering reservoir).
