E - Pedal Eases Down Slowly

E1- Check Brake Pedal Operation
- Check if condition occurs during actual stopping application by applying the brake pedal while the vehicle is moving.
- Does the condition occur with vehicle stationary ?
YES - Go to E2.
NO - No action required. Review Master Cylinder - Normal/Abnormal Conditions. Normal/Abnormal Conditions

E2- Brake System Leaks
- Check for external brake system leaks. Refer to Hydraulic System. Leak Checks
- Were any leaks found ?
YES - Service as necessary. Add fluid and bleed system then repeat step E1.
NO - Go to E3.

E3- Brake Master Cylinder Bypass Test
- Perform Brake Master Cylinder - Bypass Condition Test. Bypass Conditions Test
- Was a concern found ?
YES - Replace damaged parts, add brake fluid and bleed system then repeat E1.
NO - System OK.
