Security Lighting

The security lighting function provides exterior lighting as follows:
- System operates when the ambient light available to the light sensor amplifier is below a predetermined level.
- The system, like the illuminated entry system, may be activated two ways:
+ Any button on the keyless entry keypad is pressed.
+ The UNLOCK button on the keyless entry remote transmitter is pressed.
- The lighting control module will turn parking lamps, tail lamps and headlamps on after a momentary delay if it is dark outside.
- Lamps will remain on for approximately 25 seconds.
- Security lighting turns off with the autolamp delayed exit function.
- Whenever the LOCK button on the keyless entry remote transmitter is pressed:
+ Parking lamps and tail lamps will flash momentarily.
+ The horn will chirp.
