Lower

REMOVAL
1. Remove lower steering column bearing and housing assembly.
2. Suitably support housing and press out steering column bearing with thumb pressure.





INSTALLATION
1. Inspect flexible steering column bearing sleeve. Replace if damaged.





2. Position steering column bearing sleeve in housing.
3. Press in the new steering column bearing with thumb pressure until seated. Slot between inner and outer races should face down when installed in the vehicle.
4. Install bearing housing on steering column.
