F-Mounts

1. Inspect the F-mounts for overload conditions as shown in Figures 1 and 2. If the mounts are over-compressed, remove the bolt and the shims.

2. Inspect the mounts carefully for damage.

3. Measure the gap between the top of the mount and the radiator support.

4. Select the proper number of Shims (385127-S2) that will equal 2-3mm greater than the gap (Figure 3). Install the shims and bolt.

5. Torque the bolt to 47-62 N.m (35-46 lb-ft).
