Body Mount Inspection Procedure: Overview

NOTE:
RAISE THE VEHICLE USING A DRIVE-ON TYPE HOIST. USE OF A FRAME TYPE HOIST WILL NOT PERMIT PROPER INSPECTION OF THE BODY MOUNTS.

Carefully inspect all of the body mounts for any signs of damage, deterioration, misalignment and proper compression. Refer to Page 01-01-4 of the 1997 Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis or Town Car Service Manual for frame/body mount locations. Refer to Figures 1 through 7 for correct alignment and compression.
