Flow of Diagnosis
1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the turn signal/hazard flasher lamps to duplicate the condition.2. Inspect the turn signal/hazard flasher lamps system to determine if one of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:
Mechanical
^ Damaged turn signal lamp.
^ Damaged turn signal switch.
^ Damaged turn signal hazard lamp flasher.
Electrical
^ Open circuit.
^ Circuit shorted to power.
^ Circuit shorted to ground.
^ Loose/corroded or damaged connector.
^ Damaged harness.
^ Damaged bulb.
3. If the inspection reveals obvious concern(s) that can be readily Identified, service as required.
4. It the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and go to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
