Security Mode Operation

The remote anti-theft personality module also controls the panic mode functions.

^ Upon activation of the panic mode by pressing the keyless entry remote transmitter PANIC button, the remote anti-theft personality module sends a signal to activate the horn, headlamps and exterior lamps for approximately two minutes and 45 seconds.
^ The remote anti-theft personality module cancels the panic alarm if the panic button is pressed again or if the ignition switch is turned to the RUN or START position.
