Child Safety Lock

The child safety lock:

^ when activated, prevents the rear door from being opened from inside the vehicle regardless of the position of the rear door latch push button rod.
^ has been designed into the rear door latches. A decal on the rear door shows the location of the lever.
^ does not lock the rear door from the outside. It is still necessary to push the rear door latch push button rod down to lock the rear door from outside.




The rear door latch lever is manually moved up to lock and down to unlock the child safety lock system.
