Outside Rear View Mirror

Electrically-powered outside rear view mirrors are standard (heated outside rear view mirror is optional). The heating function of outside rear view mirrors operates as follows:

^ Activates when heated back window switch is turned on. This is indicated by the back window switch light.
^ The heating element will remain on for ten minutes. Timing is controlled by the generic electronic module (GEM).

The outside rear view mirror control:

^ is located on the front door trim panel.
^ operates both outside rear view mirrors.
^ is designed to tilt the outside rear view mirror up, down, left or right by pressing knob in the desired direction.
^ Move the switch on the outside rear view mirror control to the LH or RH position to select the outside rear view mirror requiring adjustment.
