Removal

1. NOTE: The outside rear view mirror glass and case is attached using snap tabs. It is not necessary to break the outside rear view mirror glass to remove.

Position inboard edge of outside rear view mirror glass inward to give maximum clearance at the outboard edge of outside rear view mirror glass.

2. With fingertips, pry bottom outboard corner of outside rear view mirror glass out of mirror housing until the snap tabs disengage.

3. Disconnect two heater element wiring connectors.

4. Remove outside rear view mirror glass, rubber gasket, and case from vehicle.
