Sliding Roof Panel

The roof glass panel has controlled water leak at the roof sliding panel seals. A properly adjusted roof sliding outer glass panel should result in snug fit between the roof sliding panel seal and the roof panel around the entire opening. The fit can be checked by using a feeler gauge set at 0.25 mm (0.01 inch) between the roof sliding panel seal and roof panel. If these specifications are not maintained, water will overflow the drain troughs and enter the roof panel, running down into the passenger compartment when the vehicle is stopped abruptly. Also, increased wind noise could result if roof sliding outer glass panel clearances are not kept to these specifications.
