WARNING: IF THE REAR SEAT BACK IS NOT SECURELY LATCHED, PASSENGERS OR OBJECTS COULD BE THROWN AND INJURY COULD OCCUR IN THE EVENT OF A SUDDEN STOP OR COLLISION.

The fold-down rear seat backs are split (60/40) and operate independently of each other. The rear seat back also incorporates a fold-down armrest. The rear seat backs operate in the following manner:

- Pull up on release handle, located on the top corners of the rear seat back, to release the seat and hold down to the cargo position.
- To return the seat to the seating position, raise the seat back to the upright position and make sure seat back latches into position.
- To release the seat back from the luggage compartment, access the lever below the lock-out lever and move to the OPEN position as marked on the bezel.
