Power Six-Way

Six Way Power Seat Track:





Six Way Seat Track Insulators:






REMOVAL
1. Remove four front seat track to floor insulators to expose nuts and bolts.
2. Center power seat and move to full-up position.
3. Disconnect battery ground cable.
4. Remove nuts and bolts retaining the seat and track assembly to the front floor pan.

CAUTION: Use care when handling seat and track assembly. Dropping the assembly or sitting on seat not secured in vehicle may result in damaged components.

5. Lift the seat and track assembly high enough to disconnect harness connectors. Remove seat and track assembly from vehicle.
6. Place seat upside down on a clean bench.
7. Remove front safety belt buckle end from front seat track.







8. Disconnect seat regulator control switch to seat regulator motor harness connector.
9. Disconnect front seat back pad adjusting tubes.
10. Remove front seat cushion side shield from seat assembly.
11. Remove two screws retaining front seat back latch to the front seat track.







12. Remove the four bolts retaining the front seat track to the front seat cushion frame and spring. Remove the front seat track.

INSTALLATION
1. Position the front seat tracks to the front seat cushion frame and spring.
2. Secure the front seat back covers to the front seat cushion frame and spring using the four retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to 12-24 Nm (107-212 Lb-In).
3. Install front seat back latch and seat back-to-latch screws to front seat track. Tighten to 44-60 Nm (33-44 Lb-Ft).
4. Transfer motor harness to new front seat track.
5. Connect front seat adjusting motor drive tube.
6. Install front seat cushion side shield to the front seat track.
7. Connect the seat regulator control switch to seat regulator motor harness connector.
8. Install front safety belt buckle end to front seat track.
9. Position the seat and track assembly in vehicle.
10. Lift seat and track assembly high enough to permit the connection of the harness connectors, then connect wires.
11. Install the seat track-to-front floor pan retaining nuts and washers and/or bolts. Tighten the bolts to 19-26 Nm (14-19 Lb-Ft), inboard nut to 68-92 Nm (50-67 Lb-Ft) and outboard nut to 19-26 Nm (14-19 Lb-Ft).
12. Install four front seat track to floor insulators.
13. Connect battery ground cable.
14. Check front seat tracks for proper operation.
