Initial Inspection

1. Check and correct any coolant leaks.
2. With engine cold, remove pressure relief cap and inspect filler neck sealing gasket for foreign material between the gasket and cap diaphragm. Refer to Pressure Relief Cap Cleaning and Inspection. Rinse pressure relief cap in clean water.

NOTE: The pressure relief cap used on this system is unique; replace only with proper pressure relief cap.

3. Remove radiator overflow hose at the radiator connection. Remove degas bottle hose from fender apron and flush with clean water.
4. Inspect radiator overflow hose for obstructions, cracks or cuts. Replace if necessary.
5. Install radiator coolant recovery reservoir hose and degas bottle. Connect at radiator connection.
6. Replenish coolant in cooling system as required.
7. Install pressure relief cap.
