Fuel Tank Cleaning

PROCEDURE
1. Perform fuel pressure release.
2. If required, steam-clean fuel tank.

CAUTION: Remove the fuel pump module prior to steaming fuel tank. Care should be exercised not to deform the plastic fuel pump module retainer inside the tank with excessively hot steam or direct contact with plastic surface to prevent possible component damage.

3. Allow fuel tank to thoroughly air dry.
