ISSUE

For all On-Board Diagnostic II (OBD II) passenger car and light truck applications, a direct replacement part for the evaporative emission canister and bracket assembly is no longer available.

Individual components of the evaporative emission canister are now available. Refer to the Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement Parts Chart within this article for identifying parts needed when servicing the evaporative canister assembly. Refer to the Service Procedure for details in servicing individual components.
