Inside Rear View Mirror Bracket

REMOVAL
1. The inside rear view mirror mounting bracket is bonded to the windshield glass and should not be intentionally removed.

INSTALLATION
1. Mark the location of the inside rear view mirror bracket on the outside of the windshield glass.
2. Clean the inside of the windshield glass to remove any remaining adhesive.
3. Scuff the bonding surface on the inside rear view mirror bracket.
- Wipe the surface clean.

NOTE: Do not contaminate the clean bonding surface of the inside rear view mirror bracket.

4. Apply a uniform coat of accelerator to the inside windshield glass and to the entire bonding surface of the inside rear view mirror bracket.
- Allow accelerator to dry for three minutes.
5. Apply Rear View Mirror Adhesive D9AZ-19554-CA or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESB-M2G176-A to the inside windshield glass and the inside rear view mirror bracket.
6. Press the inside rear view mirror bracket firmly against the windshield glass for one minute.
7. Allow the adhesive to set for five minutes.
- Remove any excess adhesive from the windshield glass with a clean, alcohol dampened cloth.







8. Slide the inside rear view mirror down onto the inside rear view mirror bracket until the mirror is firmly fixed in place.
